Session 1: Strong Mind, Strong Girls (9th -10th)

Strong Minds, Strong Girls is a program in which high-schoolers will dive the world of behavioral health and wellness! By breaking down the stigmas and misconceptions about mental health, the girls will create a safe environment for themselves to share and process their emotions. Girls will learn to develop coping strategies to deal with life stressors, build strong connections with their peers, and creating healthy lifestyles for themselves and their future! Join us in creating an open and safe environment for all girls!

  • Duration: 8 week session

Session 2: STEM Unlocked! (9th -10th)

In STEM Unlocked! girls will dive deeper into the world of STEM and explore how science, technology, engineering, and math influence the future. Girls will engage in concrete issues, expand problem-solving skills, and gain insight into STEM pathways and careers. Through collaboration they will discover how their ideas may influence the future.

Session 3: Becoming BOLD (9th -10th)

Join us in Becoming Bold! Are you passionate about creating change and building relationships in your community? Do you want to keep growing your leadership, research, and communication skills? In this series, you’ll work alongside other high school girls to design and complete a girl-led service project — a collaborative effort to address an issue you care deeply about and create lasting impact.

Session 4: Art in Motion (9th -10th)

Step into a world of creativity and self expression! High school girls will explore drawing, expressive painting, and sculpting with bold palettes, new techniques, and hands-on projects! Through creative exploration and self expression, they will build confidence, develop their artistic skills, and discover their unique creative voice.

Project Accelerate (11th-12th Grade)

Project Accelerate is designed to support high school juniors through their next critical transitions— from high school through college and from college to career, and everything in between. You will join a community of young women receiving individualized support for whatever you want to achieve!

Topics include: Writing workshops, Digital & Financial literacy, Building life skills, Career exploration, Mentoring, Community service, Job shadowing, College readiness

Session 1: Apply Yourself!

This series focuses on all things college! Project Accelerate participants will receive individualized support in the college application process: choosing where to apply, essay writing, application interface support, asking for recommendations, the dreaded FAFSA (it’s not that bad, promise!), scholarships, SAT/ACT prep, and more. Make the most out of your semester and Apply Yourself!

Session 2: Get Money, Get Paid

Want a job or internship this summer? Good! Let’s start now. Early teens get the job after all… In this series, Project Accelerate participants will craft resumes, build a network of strong women mentors, and learn how to use the money they’ll earn this summer to reach their goals! Teens will practice interviewing, set financial goals, and hone durable skills that will last them a lifetime.

    • September 12, 2026: Start off the program year STRONG with Girls Inc. by participating in our first Saturday program event! This event is for girls to start creating meaningful connections with girls their age! Join us in learning all about conflict resolution, communication, empathy, and allyship by playing fun games and engaging in open discussion. 
    • October 10, 2026: Come celebrate Digital Inclusion Week and World Mental Health Day with Girls Inc.! Participants will learn how to navigate, communicate, and connect with kindness in the digital world. Girls will also explore mental health, self-esteem, and empowerment online. In our new digital landscape, mental health matters!
    • November 14, 2026: Calling all young leaders! Do you like solving problems and helping others? Join us for a day of service and give back to your local community. Participants will learn about the power of volunteerism, team work, and how small acts can lead to big change. Community Service Hours available to middle and high school participants.
    • January 9, 2027: New Year, Strong YOU! Come celebrate and start off the new year strong with Girls Inc. Forget last years problems and stress by exploring self-care practices that promote a culture of safety, empowerment, and healing. Make your mind and body strong for 2027!
    • February 13, 2027: Rock It To The Future Science Festival (Free Family Event )
    • March 20, 2027: Growing-up just got easier! This Saturday at Girls Inc., join us to learn skills for independence! Participants will pratice life skills and solve challenges they will experience in the real world. From laundry hacks and kitchen safety to car maintenance and appointment scheduling, girls will learn how to stay safe, help others, and get to where they’re going!
    • April 10, 2027:Fiesta! Baila! Join Girls Inc. as we celebrate the fiesta season and discover art from around the world. Participants will explore different cultures and honor their heritage through mediums like paint, music, dance, film, and more.

Girls Inc Speed Mentoring Event

(9th-12th Grade)

Join us for a guided speed-networking event where girls will have the opportunity to practice their networking skills, learn more about different educational and career paths, and leave with meaningful career and personal connections.

Spring Break Boot Camp: Workforce Ready 2027

(9th -12th Grade)

  • Registration Opens: TBD (To Be Determined) 
  • Cost: $75 per girl 
  • Age: 14-18 years old
  • When: March 8th – March 11th 2027
  • Where: 2214 Basse Rd. San Antonio, TX 78213
  • Time: 10:00am-3:00pm
  • Fees include breakfast and snacks
  • Lunch must be brought from home
  • Girls must commit to attending 3 out of 4 days!
